Event Description
We're glad to announce the 3rd annual Tracy NorCal VEX Robotics Tournament, hosted by Wolfpack Robotics at Merrill F West High School in Tracy, CA. The tournament will be held on Saturday, November 12th, 2011. We will be playing the new season's VEX game, Gateway. This is a World Championship Qualifying Event - This tournament will qualify 4 teams for the World Championships in Anaheim in April 2012: the 3 Tournament Champion teams and the Excellence Award winner.
Tracy is conveniently located in the Central Valley at the intersection of I-5 and I-580, about 50 miles east of the SF Bay Area, and about 60 miles south of the Sacramento area.
We will be holding the tournament in our gymnasium, running 2 fields, with plenty of seating for spectators. The pits will be next door in our cafeteria, with space for teams to work - each team will have an 8-person cafeteria table. Our snack bar will be open with snacks, drinks, and lunches available.
