SMI and the Patriots Robotics Team of Viewpoint High School are delighted to co-host the Patriot/SMI Vex Gateway Tournament. The event is open to 30 middle and/or high school Vex teams.

This event is a World Championship qualifier with the Excellence Award receiving an invitation to the World Championships to be held in Anaheim, California in April 2012 and the winners of the tournament receiving invitations to the US Championships.

Venue: Viewpoint School Gym. Viewpoint School's scenic 25-acre Calabasas campus is bordered on the north side by Mulholland Highway and on the south side by Dry Canyon Cold Creek Road. There are several entrances to the School from both roads. Driving directions, parking information and site map will be sent to all registered teams one week before the event. On-site parking is free.

A waiting list will be maintained, to replace possible withdrawals and no-shows, and possible expansion of capacity, depending on team response. To place a team on the waiting list, please contact Lance Rush at largano-rush@viewpoint.org.
