Event Description
We're proud to announce the inaugural Independence High School VEX Tournament. We know many schools in the Bay Area have been wanting more events to participate in and hope this will help many compete who might not have had the opportunity so far this season. The tournament will be on Saturday, Feb 13th. This will be an official qualifier for the 2010 VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas and the Championship of the Americas in Omaha.
While initially schools could only enter up to two teams in the tournament, there are now no limits on the registration of additional teams.
The competition will take place in the "C" commons building (also known as "Constitution Hall"). Please follow the following link for the map to the facility and parking information: facility and parking map
Doors open at 8 am on Sat 2/13. Inspections of robots from 8:00 - 9:30 am, practice matches from 9:00 - 10:00 am. Matches will start at 10:15 am. Playoffs will start at approx. 1:45 pm.
