Event Description
This event is now a scrimmage mainly due to time constraints. The qualifying spot that would have been awarded here will now be given as the Excellence Award at the NJ Championships.
Teams from out of state are welcome!
This event will be more than just a scrimmage since we will be asking museum patrons to participate in "how to build/program a robot" workshops and may have a field or two setup just for demos/community play. Our plan is to advertise the event in the local community, scouting programs, schools, etc. to get the most exposure to what we do in robotics as possible. If you happen to do something other than VRC, contact us and we'd be happy to see if we can accommodate you; after all we all share in the same mission.
Please contact us if you'd like to help/participate in anyway. For example, we'll have two classrooms available for classes but may need extra supplies. Maybe you want to setup a display and show off your Autodesk skills or play a Promote video in the museum's theater.
**Special Note** - the museum is encouraging students to build an actual museum exhibit. This may go hand-in-hand with the FUTURE Foundation online challenge especially if patrons can interact with it. If they like it enough, you could actually have your work showcased outside one of their main exhibits!

Schedule/Agenda
Doors close: 5pm.
This event is primarily a community day so expect the scrimmage to be small (only 20 teams max), probably be ran on one field, and have only qualification matches. This is really an opportunity for you to show off your talents and interact with possible new roboteers.
Specific time details to come.
