Event Description
This tournament will be a qualifying event for the VEX World Championships in Orlando, FL in April.
Registration for this event will open on January 10, 2011. Look for additional details regarding this event to be posted prior to the registration opening date.
DeKalb County School System teams - Your Registration Fee will be paid directly by the tournament organizers. Please do not send a check or arrange any other payment method. Simply Click on "Pay by Check" to complete the registration (and DO NOT send a check).
Non-DeKalb County School teams– For teams outside of the DeKalb County school system, you should remit a check in the amount of $25.00 per competing team to the address below. Please mail the tournament fee well in advance to ensure that we receive your payment by the registration closing date of this event.

THE WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT

1. Make sure your robot has the most recent master code (v10) - inspection will go a LOT faster if you do.
2. Review the inspection Checklist and make sure you comply with all the listed items
3. Fill out the consent forms for each participant
4. Place any Lunch Preorders you want (look for an e-mail about that next week)
5. Checkout videos of previous competitions in our area so you know what to expect (www.vexsouth.com)
6. Review the rules and check the official VEX forums for rule updates and changes
7. Label ALL of your equipment
