Event Description
Team 79 Krunch and the USF College of Engineering proudly present the 3rd annual Tempest ‘N Tampa off-season robotics event. Tempest ‘n Tampa is an off-season FIRST and VEX Robotics competition event, featuring the 2009 FRC game challenge and also hosting a VEX Robotics Competition tournament with the new game for the 2009/2010 season - Clean Sweep. The USF Sun Dome will open its doors Friday afternoon and remain open all night so that teams traveling from near and far can come when they choose and be able to set up and practice when they arrive. In addition, we are pleased to offer team members and chaperones a Team Lock-in at the Sun Dome on Friday night as a free and easy alternative to local hotels. Designated team sleeping areas, shower and bathroom facilities, security, and lots of entertainment will be provided.
Registration for the VEX TNT Competition is $50 and done here, online, at robotevents.com.
