PRIOR is proud to host the 2nd Annual Technology Challenge & VEX Robotics Puerto Rico Championship. This "advanced" tournament will be for returning/veteran middle and high school teams and will also be a qualifier for the VEX Robotics World Championship and Championship of the Americas events in March and April! The goal of the Technology Challenge event is to inspire students into STEM, and develop the engineers and scientist of the future.

Dec 9th and and 10th will be practice only days that are optional for teams. Dec 11th and 12th will be the full competition days with qualifying rounds and playoffs. Teams need to first register in the VEX Robotics Competition to get their official team number and then sign up for the Puerto Rico Championship afterwards. We're looking forward to hosting the VEX Robotics Competition and "Clean Sweep" game and can't wait to see all the teams in December.

The major of the Guaynabo City agreed to celebrate in conjunction with the Regional an event called: Guaynabo Science and Space Encounter.
Hundreds of schools from around the Island will visit the Coliseum and will see the VEX Robotics Competition and other NASA sponsored events that will be used to catch the attention of all the K-12 students. Exhibits will include a model of the Hubble Space Telescope, interaction with real NASA Astronauts, real Astronauts suits and other items on display.
