The CREATE Foundation is proud to offer the first ever VEX Robotics Championship of the Americas, an opportunity for top VEX Robotics teams from North America, Central America and South America to compete with and against the best of the best.

Winning teams from all North American VEX Robotics Competition tournaments will qualify for the Championship of the Americas.

The Championship of the Americas will also qualify a minimum of SIXTEEN teams for the VEX Robotics World Championship held later in April, 2009. Here is the breakdown of teams from the Championship of the Americas that will qualify for the VEX Robotics World Championship: The 12 teams that make the semi-finals of the Hybrid Challenge, the winners of the Excellence Award, the winners of the Autonomous Challenge and the RC Driver Challenge and any teams ranked in the top 10 at the conclusion of the qualifying rounds that don't reach any of the previously mentioned milestones.

Registration for the VEX Robotics Championship of the Americas is now open to all teams as they qualify through local & regional events (invitation emails will be sent to qualified teams about a week after their local event).

A waiting list will be created for teams interested in participating who may not have qualified at a local and regional VEX Robotics Competitions. When qualified teams are unable to attend and spots open up, teams on the wait list will be notified. If your team has not qualified for the Championship of the Americas but would like to get on the waiting list, fill out this form.
