We're thrilled to announce the first annual Bay Area VEX Robotics Challenge hosted by Bellarmine College Prep in San Jose, CA. This event will be open to Middle and High School VEX Robotics teams, running all three challenges for the new game - the Hybrid Tournament, the Autonomous challenge and the RC Driver Challenge. Top teams from this event will also qualify to participate in the 2009 VEX Robotics World Championship and the 2009 VEX Robotics Championship of the Americas. We'll be updating the page with more details and information in the coming weeks.

This is also a great event for Bay Area schools participating in the 2009 FRC competition, as teams can build VEX robots in the first semester to help get new students and the team ready for the FRC season starting in January.

The goal is to allow any interested schools to enter at least one team. If space remains, schools wishing to enter additional teams will be able to do so.
