- Please be ON TIME or EARLY, so we can get started ASAP
- LUNCH will be provided at both trainings!

COMPETITION EVENT MANDATORY DATES TO REMEMBER!!

All these events are MANDATORY for the COMPETITION!!

Sat., Sept. 10, 1:00 - ~4:00 – Kick-Off - NW-SCC gym, Shoals campus
2011 BUGS! playing field reveal, learn about the 2011 BUGS! game challenge, strategize with your team!!

Sat., Oct. 8, 12 noon - ~4:00 – Mall Day - Regency Square Mall (Center Court, in front of Dillard’s), Florence
Practice driving your robots on the actual field!
NOTE: Your team will schedule a specific 30-min. time slot to practice.
You do NOT have to be there the entire time.
You do NOT have to bring the entire team. Drivers, spotters and technical members are good, so they can strategize about any issues that need to be resolved.

Tues., Oct. 18, by or before 5 p.m. – ENGINEERING NOTEBOOKS are DUE at NW-SCC, Bldg. 115
They may be mailed, FedEx’d or delivered, but must physically be there by that time. Judges will judge notebooks that evening.

Fri., Oct. 21 (specific times TBA, but likely afternoon & early evening) - we will offer EARLY CHECK-IN, COMPLIANCE & SET-UP **, to help speed things along on Sat.
** For teams who check-in early, they can schedule extra practice-driving time on the field that day / night! BAIT!! : )
[You may not realize yet how valuable that will be, but trust me, it’s big!]
Early check-in is NOT MANDATORY, just available and helpful!

Sat., Oct. 22, 8 a.m. - ~4 p.m. – GAME DAY!! NW-SCC gym, Shoals campus
