Event Description
The New Jersey VEX Championship is the final qualifying event to advance teams to Dallas in the New Jersey area for the 2010 Clean Sweep game.
As the final pre-Championship event in the area prior to Dallas, the event fields will be elevated to 30 inches above the floor to simulate the experience operators will see at the Dallas Championship. PLEASE NOTE that the Dallas World Championship Event will be a VEXNET only type of competition. While VEXNET is encouraged for this event, crystal robot operation will be available as well.
As a special award, there will be at least one team from this event that has the registration for the Dallas Championship paid for by this event. The source of these funds will be from the registration funds collected to attend this event. Accordingly, the more teams registered for this event, the greater the opportunity for a second team award in this area. The maximum number of Dallas Registration Awards from this event is three (3) and will be based upon total team registrations paid in full by March 12th.
To qualify, you must be registered and paid for this event by March 1st as well as have registered and paid for the Dallas World Championship by March 15th. These such teams will receive a check in the amount of $ 500.00 at the NJ VEX Championship event. *****The exception to this is any team that Qualifies for Dallas at the NJ VEX Championship event. In such a case, the team(s) receiving this type of Dallas Registration Award will receive a check in the amount of $ 500.00 after registering AND paying for the Dallas World Championship Event.*****
